The hourly rate is HK$78 (effective from 1 January 2025).

For regular term assignments, you may work up to a maximum of 16.5 hours per week, across all concurrent job assignments (maximum of THREE concurrent part-time job assignments).

For summer term assignments, you may work EITHER

1. on a part-time basis for a maximum of 16.5 hours per week, across all concurrent job assignments (maximum of THREE concurrent part-time job assignments); OR
2. on a full-time basis at 44 hours per week, with an employment period of at least 2 consecutive weeks (maximum of one concurrent job assignment across all job types).

If you are a full-time student studying one of the eligible STEM programmes funded by the University Grants Committee ("UGC"), don’t miss the STEM Internship Scheme launched by the Innovation and Technology Commission. You can gain innovation and technology-related work experience during your studies and get ready for your career in I&T after graduation. Yes, we have both indoor and outdoor sports facilities on campus. Spanning from B2/F to 7/F of the Jockey Club One Health Tower, the Hu Fa Kuang Sports Centre offers one-stop indoor sports facilities for the CityUHK community, including the largest sports hall on one level among local universities and the first local university with an all-weather indoor jogging track which connects with the 1.5-km CityUHK Outdoor Hillside Trail.

For outdoor sports facilities, you may use the on-campus Swimming Pool, the Outdoor Basketball Court located opposite the student residence halls. The off-campus Joint Sports Centre at Renfrew Road, Kowloon Tong (jointly owned by CityUHK, HKBU and PolyU) also provides a variety of quality outdoor sports facilities.
