CityUHK is committed to nurturing socially responsible graduates by providing a wide range of opportunities for students to engage with and contribute to the community. Through community service and experiential learning initiatives, students are encouraged to develop leadership, empathy, civic awareness and a strong sense of social responsibility while making meaningful contributions to society.
Key initiatives include the Service Leadership Training Programme (SLTP), the Community Engagement Programme (CEP); the schemes provide both local and non-local students with opportunities to participate in community projects and local events, helping them build connections with the wider Hong Kong community through meaningful service experiences.
