In April 2024, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) established the Institute of Digital Medicine (IDM), which is dedicated to fostering diverse collaboration in digital medicine and exploring cutting-edge technological solutions for the long-term benefit of patients. 

CityUHK held the inaugural Anniversary Dinner of the CityUHK Academy of Innovation (CAI) on 4 Nov 2025. Over 260 esteemed guests from government, industry, academia, as well as students, gathered to celebrate the CAI’s remarkable journey.

CityUHK and Pharmaron (Hong Kong) International Limited (Pharmaron) signed a Collaborative Framework Agreement on 17 October 2025, whose aim is to foster talent incubation, digital medicine innovation and knowledge sharing.

Four research teams from City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) were awarded funding as part of the second batch of projects under the “Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus Scheme (RAISe+) Scheme”. The projects encompass groundbreaking advancements in new materials, new energy, electrical and electronic engineering, and health and medical sciences.
