Professor Michael Yang Mengsu, Senior Vice-President (Innovation & Enterprise) and Yeung Kin Man Chair Professor of Biomedical Sciences at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), has been elected Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) in recognition of his significant contributions to innovation, societal welfare, and economic development.
City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) achieved remarkable success by winning 25 awards at the 4th Asia Exhibition of Innovations & Inventions Hong Kong (AEII). The honours comprised two Special Prizes, 12 Gold Medals, nine Silver Medals and two Bronze Medals, being the highest among local universities.
City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) was honoured to receive a generous donation from CMA Testing, a subsidiary of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA), in support of the University’s innovation and entrepreneurial endeavours, particularly the HK Tech 300 programme.
Through its flagship HK Tech 300 programme, CityUHK is transforming research breakthroughs into real-world solutions, supporting over 190 startups with angel investments and offering resources such as business networks and investment matching. These efforts have helped attract over HK$200 million in funding for participating startups.
