Discussing GenAI Insights from TechLaw.Fest 2025
On 18 September 2025, at the sharing session held by CityUHK School of Law, Mr. Ubaid REHMAN, PCLL Programme Director, and Professor Noam ZAMIR, Associate Professor, discussed insights they gained from attending TechLaw.Fest 2025 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. They focused on the role of Generative AI (GenAI) in the legal field and education, reflecting on trends in AI implementation, its applications, impacts and limitations in both legal practice and academic settings.

The discussion that followed was lively and thought-provoking, with attendees exploring ethical challenges of AI, the evolving roles of educators and researchers in the era of GenAI, and how the School can leverage these tools to improve teaching quality and support students effectively.
We look forward to hosting more workshops and discussions to bring colleagues together and further explore these critical issues.
