The Department of Biomedical Sciences (BMS) at CityUHK is pleased to share the excellent outcome of the Research Grants Council’s General Research Fund (GRF) exercise for 2025/2026. Continuing our strong track record in research, BMS has secured eight GRF grants, with total funding close to HK$10 million.
The GRF is a highly competitive funding scheme that supports academic research of high merit across Hong Kong’s UGC-funded universities. It aims to strengthen institutional research capabilities and foster scholarly excellence. This year’s awarded projects once again showcase the innovation, ambition, and impact of research within the BMS community.
We warmly congratulate the following Principal Investigators (PIs), and extend our heartfelt thanks to all colleagues who contributed to submitting high-quality proposals.
