Description
The Alumni Get-Together & Fire-Side Chat Event was successfully held on 23 April 2024 (Tue) at the CityUHK campus. This extraordinary event, organised by the Career and Leadership Centre and supported by the Alumni Relations Office, brought together a vibrant community of CityUHK alumni, staff and current CityUHK students.
11 esteemed CityUHK alumni from the Financial Services and Consulting fields were invited to share their industry experiences and insights on career development. The centrepiece of this event was a 45-minute fire-side chat session featuring 4 alumni discussing job market trends and sharing how they leveraged their CityUHK experiences for successful careers. Over 50 participants engaged in enlightening conversations, with alumni experts providing guidance and inspiration.
The CityUHK Alumni Get-Together & Fire-Side Chat event series stands as a groundbreaking initiative, fostering a growth mindset for student career success while strengthening alumni and student community. Through regular events within this series, students gain opportunities to connect with our CityUHK alumni from diverse industries, understand the latest industry trends and gain advice for their personal growth and career development.
