CityUHK Cares for YOU 2025/26 Sem A

Professor Alex WONG Chun Yuen, Dean of Students, joined Caring League members in distributing caring packs to students, sharing encouragement and fostering warmth during the “CityUHK Cares for YOU” campaign.
Students explored emotions through movement, letting the body speak where words fall short and creating space for expression and connection at the Contemporary Dance Performance & Workshop.
Students took a break from their busy schedules to handcraft night lights, enjoying a relaxing moment of creativity and brightening their day with care.
Students co-created an art piece, symbolising the collective effort to cultivate a caring CityUHK campus. Through gentle brushstrokes and vibrant colours, they blended creativity and collaboration on the canvas.

Description

The “CityUHK Cares for YOU” campaign is held each semester to reaffirm our commitment to supporting the CityUHK community. This year’s theme, “Nurturing Our Community with a Decade of Care”, celebrates the compassion, connection, support, and sense of belonging cultivated together over the past ten years.

A variety of activities were organised to help students manage stress and face challenges with a positive mindset. In addition, a new mascot, CitySloth, was introduced to promote awareness of counselling services within the CityUHK community.
