CityUHK Cares for YOU 2024-2025 Sem B

The opening ceremony — hosted by our officiating guest, Professor CHUNG Shu Hung Henry, Dean of Students; along with our honorable guest, Professor TOH Kian Lam, Director of Student Development Services — marked the official opening of CityUHK Cares for YOU.
Students enjoyed the Sand Art Experiential Workshop, where they focused their minds and discovered a sense of calm and relaxation.
Students were encouraged to write messages on “Thank Yourself” cards and post them on message boards, promoting self-validation and treating oneself with kindness.

Held every semester, the "CityUHK Cares for YOU" campaign reaffirms our commitment to supporting the well-being of the CityUHK community. With this year’s theme, "YOU Matter! Value and Care for Yourself," this campaign encouraged students to embrace their intrinsic worth and prioritise self-care.

Through performances, workshops, and interactive booths, participants explored personal values and learned strategies to enhance their mental and emotional well-being. Adding a dash of joy, our beloved mascot, Yearnie, roamed the campus, spreading positivity and raising awareness about the university’s counselling services.

Together, we’re fostering a culture of care—one where every member of CityUHK knows that they matter.
