Every year, the Elite-100 Programme organised by the Career and Leadership Centre (CLC) grooms a group of finely chosen students for embarking on a bright career. Carissa Li is one of the success stories: securing job offers from reputable enterprises before graduation.

Carissa believes that it takes much more than academic excellence to achieve career success. In order to find herself the most suitable career path, she started planning early and has already participated in internships that are very diverse in nature. She was an intern at the Swire Group where she worked with the Corporate Communications Department of Cathay Pacific. At the L’Oréal Group, she served as a marketing intern. Carissa even went to Beijing to be a human resources intern of the United Nations Development Programme.

“Being open-minded and working in different fields are good ways to identify what your likes and dislikes are,” Carissa explained. After gaining experience from various workplaces, she decided to embark on a journey in the dynamic business world.

Apart from focusing on career development, Carissa has also devoted much time and effort in student organisations such as ICAC Ambassadors and AIESEC, where she polished her all-round skills by initiating and participating in large-scale activities. With career ambitions and the talent to lead, Carissa is ready to pursue her dreams!
