SEE Colloquium Explores Hong Kong's Journey to Become an International Innovation and Technology Hub

The recent SEE Colloquium on Hong Kong's Journey to Become an International Innovation and Technology Hub, held on October 6 2023, featured Prof. SIT Wing-hang Alfred, GBS, JP, as the esteemed speaker. During the colloquium, Prof. SIT discussed Hong Kong's potential in the field of innovation and technology, highlighting its advantages and the government's initiatives to support its growth, as well as the future prospects. The presentation generated insightful discussions among a diverse audience of over 80 attendees, including both CityU members and non-CityU participants.

Prof. SIT Wing-hang Alfred, GBS, JP, has a distinguished career in the government, with significant roles in electrical and mechanical services. Currently, he holds prominent positions as Senior Advisor to the President and Vice-Chancellor of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU); Advisor of the Institute for Innovation, Translation, and Policy Research; and Honorary Professor of HKBU.
