Professor Chak K Chan invited to share his views on air pollution on One Earth

Professor Chak K Chan, SEE Dean, was invited by One Earth to share his opinion pieces on the topic of air pollution. The short passage entitled "Tighter Control of Emissions from Restaurants is Needed", featured on the February issue, reveals the impact of restaurant emissions to air quality of cities. It is suggested that more stringent regulations on mitigating and reducing emissions from restaurants in dense city environments are needed to address their adverse environmental and human health impacts.

One Earth is a new journal from Cell Press publishing high-impact research that seeks to understand and address today's environmental grand challenges.
