The IFAWET 2021 is jointly organized by Water and Membrane Technologies Laboratory, School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong, and the Research Centre for Water Environment Technology, The University of Tokyo.
This conference will provide a platform for sharing the most recent technological innovations and scientific developments associated with water resources management, water treatment technology, and water/environmental issues, including emerging pollutants, resource recovery, and energy efficiency amid the Covid-19 Pandemic.
There will be 3 keynote speeches, 16 oral, and 30 poster presentations on different topics as follows:
- Advanced Membrane technology
- Emerging organic contaminants (EOCs), antibiotic resistant bacteria (ARB), and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the water environment.
- Water-Based Epidemiology
- Disinfection and water management strategies
Selected papers and posters will be recommended for Special Issues in high-quality journals (Desalination and Journal of Water Process Engineering). Three Best Poster Award will be selected.
