Welcome Dr. Sarah Rosanowski

Dr. Sarah Rosanowski recently joined the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health as an Assistant Professor in Evidence Based Veterinary Medicine.

Before joining City University of Hong Kong, she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Royal Veterinary College, UK, and prior to that a lecturer at the EpiCentre, Massey University, New Zealand.

She is particularly interested in equine epidemiology but her research background includes developing diagnostic tests for gastrointestinal parasitism in sheep, identifying fear and anxiety in companion animals attending veterinary clinics and exotic disease outbreak investigation in Kiwifruit.

She will contribute to the teaching in the new Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and conduct research in the area of veterinary epidemiology, specifically in horses and companion animals.
