We are delighted to have had Professor Frederick Leung, Chief Research Director of FCL Bioscience (Hong Kong) Limited, present a seminar about Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) to veterinary professionals on 12 September 2017. As an internationally renowned molecular biotechnologist, he provided an overview of recent advances in NGS and challenges that veterinary scientists face in attempting to bring genomic sequencing methods to veterinary diagnostic laboratories.

Organised by the Centre for Applied One Health Research and Policy Advice, the seminar was the first of the One Health Seminar Series which provides an opportunity for sharing up-to-date knowledge and experience related to One Health challenges.
