On 8-9 October, a 2-day 1-night Teamwork and Leadership Orientation Camp was held at Hong Kong Playground Association's Facilities in Mui Wo for all in coming Year 1 BVM students.
The Camp aimed to provide opportunities for BVM1 students to develop their leadership and teamwork skills and to cultivate a supportive and cohesive culture among the incoming cohort.
The camp kicked off with a welcome talk by Prof Vanessa Barrs, Associate Dean and Director of Veterinary Affairs, and each students demonstrated creativity and team work in cooking a delicious meal in the outdoors.
A great time was had by all. The camp was a fruitful two days full of high energy, fast-paced, interactive team building activities that helped each of our students get to know each other, and enhance an overall sense of community.
