Welcome to the 2021 Fred Scott Feline Symposium

This year’s 33rd annual Fred Scott Feline Symposium, to be held virtually July 30th-August 1st, 2021.

This year, registrants will enjoy very timely presentations addressing the diagnosis, epidemiology, and public health impacts of SARS-Cov-2 on our feline friends and those that love them. Speakers will include Dr. Diego Diel, Director of the Virology lab at Cornell’s Animal Health Diagnostic Center,  Dr. Gary Whittaker, Professor of Virology at the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and the College’s resident expert on coronaviruses,  and Dr. Vanessa Barrs, Professor and Associate Dean of the Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences in Hong Kong.

In addition to the latest information on COVID-19,  sessions being offered will include a presentation by Dr. Larry Cowgill of the University of California at Davis on renal replacement therapy and extracorporeal blood purification in cats with renal disease, and Dr. Santiago Peralta, Associate Professor in the department of Clinical Sciences at Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine, will present an informative and entertaining review of the diagnosis and management of a variety of feline oral/dental diseases.

Look forward to “seeing” you in July.
