Step 1

Complete a one-time registration to create a user account

  • Go to "Current Openings", click "Register" on the top menu and the "Create a New Account" page will be shown.
  • Complete the fields in the "Create a New Account" page and click the "Create User" button. Remember to write down your email address and password for future reference.
  • You will receive a system-generated email after your registration. Click the activation link in the email to activate your account.
  • After activation, you will be directed to the Login page again.

Step 2

Complete the online job application form

  • Click "Apply Now" for the position that you wish to apply. (You will be directed to the Login page if you haven't logged in the System.)
  • Fill out the online form in details even if you attach a C.V./relevant documents.
  • Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  • You may click "Save" at any time in the application process to save the parts completed. This will allow you to continue with the application before the deadline when you login the System again.

Step 3

You can attach your C.V./relevant documents in the System.

  • The total size of attachments must be smaller than 50MB (maximum 10 files). File name more than 50 characters will be truncated. File types allowed by the System are pdf, doc, xls, jpg and png.

Step 4

Click "Submit Application". You will receive a system-generated acknowledgement by email upon successful submission.



Returning Users

If you have already created a user account, please login the System with your email address and password. This enables you to:

  • Apply for new positions.
  • View, modify/edit your application and re-submit if the job posting is still active.

Login with EID Account

Step 1

Login the System with your EID and LDAP password

  • Go to "Current Openings" or "Internal Openings", click "Apply Now" for the position that you wish to apply.
  • Click "login here" for serving CityU staff and enter your EID and LDAP password.

Step 2

Complete the online job application form.

  • Fill out the online form in details even if you attach a C.V./relevant documents. Some personal data generated from your personnel record at CityU will be pre-filled in your application form.
  • Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  • You may click "Save" at any time in the application process to save the parts completed. This will allow you to continue with the application before the deadline when you login the System again.

Step 3

You can attach your C.V./relevant documents in the System.
