Assistant IT Manager in the Enterprise Solutions Office [Ref. D/304/09]

 

Duties

  1. Administer and support the University’s online learning and collaboration tools (such as Learning Management System (LMS), Microsoft SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business), and online survey tool, etc.;
  2. Develop and maintain various central web applications, and formulate document system specifications, test plans, upgrade or migration plan, etc.;
  3. Provide support in integrating cloud services to central authentication system via SAML 2.0, OAuth, ODIC, etc.; and
  4. Undertake any duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience;
  2. Experience in liaising with stakeholders for user requirements;
  3. Experience in administering and supporting Canvas, Qualtrics, QuestionPro, and Microsoft 365;
  4. Knowledge of the programming with ASP.NET, AJAX, JavaScript, MS SQL database, MS SharePoint API, and Oracle Database Client;
  5. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  6. Ability to work independently under pressure are required; and
  7. Knowledge of RedHat Linux and Git server would be an advantage.

 

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
