Project

Joint Institutional Job Information System (JIJIS)

Duties

  1. Provide support to JIJIS* Secretariat in coordinating and convening Management Committee and Liaison Group Meetings, and writing minutes; prepare circulation papers and coordinate with the University Grants Committee (UGC) whenever necessary;
  2. Closely monitor and work with the IT vendor to ensure the smooth operation of JIJIS on a daily basis;
  3. Oversee job/employer information in the JIJIS database and spot check irregularities on the job platform for reporting and necessary actions;
  4. Handle JIJIS enquiries from employers, students, media and other stakeholders;
  5. Manage students’/graduates’ database (including mass lists collection from participating institutions);
  6. Prepare reports; manage budget and finance of JIJIS-related expenditures; and
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.


*JIJIS is a joint-U job information platform provided for students of the 8 UGC-funded institutions in Hong Kong.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ relevant working experience (preferably in education sector);
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
  3. Experience in handling enquiries and managing database.


Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
