Executive Officer II in the Office of the Vice-President (Student Affairs) [Ref. B/652/09]

 

Duties

  1. Provide administrative support to the VPSA and the Office (e.g. vetting documents submitted by internal departments for VPSA);
  2. Serve the working groups and committees;
  3. Monitor and evaluate the development and continuous enhancement of student programmes and the online central repository;
  4. Perform data analytics for student development programmes and prepare reports for the OVPSA;
  5. Liaise with line offices on the implementation and development of the student development programmes;
  6. Handle office administration-related matters and events;
  7. Work on special projects as assigned by the VPSA; and
  8. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree or above with administrative experience, preferably in higher education institutions;
  2. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  3. Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, and computer literacy;
  4. Good critical and analytical skills with a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving;
  5. Being a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility with initiatives, self-motivated and attentive to details; and
  6. Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure are required.

 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
