Teaching Consultant in the Department of Media and Communication (Appointment for 24 months) [Ref. B/R/1324/09]

Duties

1. Teach courses in the fields of news writing, communication, and public relations;
2. Supervise student-run TV station;
3. Manage Student Internship Programme;
4. Contribute to professional engagement, networking, and outreach activities that enhance the academic and professional reputation of the Department; and
5. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head or the delegates.

Requirements

A relevant Master’s degree or above, with rich experience in news writing, media or public relations related industry is required. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience at university level in the related areas.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
