Graduate Teaching Assistants in the Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre (Appointment for approximately 11 months) (Ref. B/R/1267/09)

Duties

The Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants for the Academic Year 2023/24. The appointees will work closely with Language Centre staff to support the provision of English Language Support Services (ELSS), large-scale English enhancement courses, and assessment.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a closely related field is required. Experience in teaching EAP at the tertiary level and in the development of materials for face-to-face and/or technology-mediated modes would be an advantage, as would an earned post-graduate qualification in a relevant field, good interpersonal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
