Project Officer in the Student Development Services [Ref. B/654/09]

Caring League

Duties

Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Development Services (Counselling), the appointee will be responsible for:

  1. Conducting overall planning and budget control of a student leadership training programme, Caring League, and promoting caring culture on campus;
  2. Planning and executing programme promotion work and student leaders recruitment exercise;
  3. Coordinating meetings with student leaders;
  4. Overseeing the planning and implementation of team service-learning projects and campus-wide events;
  5. Conducting programme assessment (including compilation and keeping of central database);
  6. Maintaining of programme website and social media; and
  7. Performing any other duties as assigned.

The appointee will be also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

 

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ post-qualification working experience in education, customer relations, event/relationship management or related areas;
  2. Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  4. A strong sense of responsibility with high level of self-motivation and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision;
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  6. Pleasant and cheerful work attitude with good teamwork spirit; and
  7. Creativity in producing original work, designing promotion items and developing ideas around chosen themes.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

 

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
