Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (Appointment for 24 months commencing from January 2023 with possibility of extension) [Ref. A/R/1190/09]


The Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications from outstanding scholars for the above non-tenure track post with area in biomedical imaging.

Duties

Teach courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, mentor students, and perform any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Requirements

A PhD degree with strong background in Biomedical Engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with post-doctoral training and specialties in the areas of biomedical imaging focusing on magnetic resonance imaging and chemical exchange saturation transfer imaging. Candidates must be committed to high quality teaching for a diverse student body at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Terms of appointment will be based on the current visiting remuneration package.
