LED Lamps in Staircases |

Description
There are 35 numbers of semi-open staircases on main campus where florescent lighting is previously maintained switching on around the clock for emergency requirements. In energy efficient design, LED lamp integrated with a photo-sensor is used because lighting will be activated only when the daylight level is sensed below 50 lux on floor level. . The annual energy saving is 248,784 kWh (equivalent to reduction of carbon emission by planting of 5,812 trees)

80% energy cost has been saved, in addition, manpower is reduced for re-lamping because the life span of LED is 5 times longer.
