Dr Yun Young Go recently joined the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health as Assistant Professor in Veterinary Immunology.
Yun joined us from the the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology in South Korea.
She will contribute to the teaching in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme and her research will focus on the interactions between viruses and host defence mechanisms from different perspectives that will eventually converge to design better vaccines and therapeutic options against viral diseases of veterinary and public health importance.
