Dr Ioannis Magouras recently joined the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health as Assistant Professor in Food Safety/Veterinary Public Health.
He joins us from the Veterinary Public Health Institute (University of Bern) in Switzerland.
He will contribute to the teaching in the new Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme and his research will focus on the epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance in animals, humans and the environment.
