  1. “The Mongol Empire: Opening a New History of Eurasia” Seminar; Prof. H. K. Chang. Analyzes the Macro-history of the Steppe Silk Road

    Organized by the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press, the “Hong Kong Book Fair 2026: International Vision Seminar Series — The Mongol Empire: Opening a New History of Eurasia” was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 18 July 2026. The event featured a special keynote presentation by Prof. Chang Hsin-kang, GBS, JP, former president and University professor at CityUHK. The talk attracted a large number of history enthusiasts and readers, resulting in a full house and a lively atmosphere of intellectual exchange.

  2. Enthusiastic Response to “Hand-in-Hand for Benevolence: A Conversation on the Century-Long Footprints of TWGHs” Talk by Renowned Scholars Lau Chi-pang and Ting Sun-pao

    Organized by the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press during the 36th Hong Kong Book Fair, the seminar “Hand-in-Hand for Benevolence: A Conversation on the Century-Long Footprints of TWGHs” concluded successfully. The talk featured Prof. Lau Chi-pang, SBS, JP, Member of the Legislative Council of the HKSAR, and Prof. Ting Sun-pao, BBS, Honorary Prof. of the School of Chinese at The University of Hong Kong, as guest speakers. Mr. Tseng Hing-yep, Chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs), along with guests, attended to offer their support, attracting a large audience interested in Hong Kong history and philanthropic culture.

  3. A Legacy on the Track: The 75-Year Story of the HKAAA Book Launch cum Symposium Successfully Held

    Coinciding with World Book Day on 23 April, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press and the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates (HKAAA) proudly hosted The Legacy of the Track: The 75-Year History of the Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates book launch cum seminar titled “In Pursuit of Excellence: The Journey of Athletics in Hong Kong” at the Hopewell Hotel in Wan Chai.
