In a heartwarming initiative to foster intergenerational connections and uplift the spirits of older adults, the City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press Volunteer Team visited Hong Kong Christian Service Un Chau OPlus on April 5 2025. The event brought together volunteers and elderly residents for an afternoon filled with laughter, meaningful interactions, and shared memories.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press has launched a specialty corner near the number 74 bookshelf in Cosmos Books (Wan Chai), which is located in the basement of 30 Johnston Road. This corner will be open from March 17 to June 16, 2025. The bookshelf features a curated selection of best-sellers, cultural studies titles, professional and academic books, as well as unique souvenirs. This initiative aims to enrich readers' knowledge and aesthetic experience, thereby enhancing both their reading materials and lifestyle.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) jointly hosted a seminar titled “Exploring Dreams and Career Planning” on 2 April, 2025. With the aim to encourage younger generations to reflect on their career aspirations and life goals, this seminar featured Prof. Albert Ip Yuk-Keung, author of Albert Ip’s Journey to Student Employment Counseling and Planning (in Chinese), International Advisory Board of the College of Business (CB) member, Chairman of the Career Development Advisory Committee for CityUHK CB, and Michael Cheng Sai-fuk, HSUHK University Librarian as guest speakers.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press hosted a book seminar for Ageing Care in the Community: Current Practices and Future Directions on 26 October 2024 at CityUHK. Aiming to discuss the ageing population issue in Hong Kong, Prof. Kenneth Nai-kuen FONG and Kar-wai TONG Mr. Kar-wai TONG, editors of the book, along with a group of guest speakers who have significantly contributed to the fields shared their insights and research of this issue.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) Press has joined the University of Macau (UM) to co-hosted a seminar titled "Exploring Dreams and Career Planning" on 15 October 2024. Speaking at the seminar were distinguished guest speakers Professor Albert IP Yuk-Keung, author of Albert Ip's Journey to Student Employment Counseling and Planning (in Chinese), Adjunct Distinguished Professor and Advisory Board Member of the Faculty of Business, UM and Professor MOK Kai Meng, UM's Vice Rector (Student Affairs). Sharing their study journeys, career paths, and life aspirations with 140 students from UM, the speakers wanted to inspire the young generation with their experiences.
