CityU JUPAS Consultation Week to be held from 25 to 30 May

The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) 2020 JUPAS Consultation Week will be held from 25 to 30 May. To avoid crowds, the University will be holding consultations online this year. Students who are interested in enrolling in CityU can learn about CityU’s JUPAS programmes and learning environment while staying at home.

During the Consultation Week, over 100 live sessions will be held. A large number of admission consultations will be conducted online, giving DSE candidates the chance to interact with CityU’s professors, students and alumni and exchange ideas. Programme talks will introduce CityU’s JUPAS programmes with lively and interesting themes. For example, Professor Dirk Pfeiffer, Chow Tak Fung Chair Professor of One Health, will introduce how to prevent or stop infectious disease outbreaks. Professor Michael Tsimplis of the School of Law will give a speech on the topic “Hurricanes, floods and heat waves: Can law stop them?” Also, talks on practical information including employment prospects will be held and a number of guest speakers have been invited to share their thoughts.

To help DSE candidates prepare for university interviews, videos about practical information about admissions such as selection criteria and interview preparation will be provided on the online platform. Students can experience CityU's teaching and learning environment through online games and virtual tours of campus facilities including laboratories and student residence.
