The book serves as a useful reference for visitors, business travellers and students from French-speaking countries, the mainland and Hong Kong. It covers a wide range of daily-life situations and is organized in three columns for quick and easy access.

CityU has raised a grand total of HK$392,660 for UNICEF, from 6 January to 7 February, to provide education kits for tsunami-affected children. This is a record amount for a CityU-wide donation campaign to date.
