Ten new titles published by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) Press were launched at the Hong Kong Book Fair this year running from 15 to 21 July.

During the 7-day event, cross platform e-books as well as the CityU Press App will be available for free download.

Professor Way Kuo, University President, was accompanied by Professor Zhu Guobin, the new Director of CityU Press, on a visit to the CityU Press booth for the eighth year in a row to show his support.

Professor Kuo said CityU Press is an important channel for knowledge transfer. On the one hand it supports the University’s education and research activities, and on the other raises our academic profile, he said.

The CityU Press booth showcases the latest developments and achievements of the Discovery-enriched Curriculum. Professor Arthur Ellis, CityU’s Provost, visited the booth to promote the curriculum. Professor Geraint Howells, Dean of School of Law, was also among the visitors.

The Hong Kong Book Fair is an annual fixture in the calendar of publishers based in Asia. The theme of this year’s fair is "Reading the World, Writing the Future". The CityU Press booth is located at the University Square.
