Fair promotes e-learning expertise

E-learning best practice is the focus of a three-day e-Learning Fair on campus.

The fair, which runs from 6 to 8 March, promotes the use of e-learning and mobile learning tools and related pedagogy, aligning with the University’s strategic focus on e-learning in support of its Discovery-enriched Curriculum and the growing importance of mobile technology in learning.

The event, which was co-organised by the Office of Education Development and Gateway Education (EDGE) and the Office of the Chief Information Officer, features a poster exhibition in the university concourse and a user group forum on 6 March for CityU colleagues, representatives from e-learning service providers and friends from other tertiary institutions to share their experiences.

Dr Andy Chun Hon-wai, the Chief Information Officer (bottom left) and Professor Cheng Shuk Han, Director of EDGE (bottom right), gave their opening remarks at the forum.
