This exhibition is the first of its kind in Hong Kong, displaying dried cetacean specimens that were stranded in Hong Kong, and featuring common virtopsy and necropsy evidence handled by the Cetacean Virtopsy Laboratory of CityU for survival threats in the Cetaceans Stranding Investigation (CSI) in Hong Kong waters.

The exhibition will enable the public to understand the CSI and the significance and application of virtopsy evidence. It will also display an interactive mobile application and a virtual reality game developed by undergraduate students at CityU on cetacean species identification and the threats that cetaceans face in Hong Kong waters. 

Media are invited to join a guided tour of the exhibition following the opening ceremony.
