Opening Ceremony of the International Conference on “Discovery and Innovation in Social Work Practicum Education”

The International Conference on “Discovery and Innovation in Social Work Practicum Education” will be held at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) from 20 to 21 May. The conference aims to exchange knowledge and practices on Social Work practicum education in both local and global contexts, and to explore a collaborative learning fieldwork practicum model.

 

Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Hong Kong SAR Government, and Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, will deliver speeches at the opening ceremony. The event will also feature three keynote speakers from the University of Toronto, Canada; the University of Sussex, UK; and the University of Queensland, Australia.
