Event:         Roundtable on the Second Round of Consultation on the Chief Executive Election 2017

Issues relating to the Second Round of Consultation on the Chief Executive Election in 2017 will be the focus of a Roundtable at the Centre for Chinese and Comparative Law at the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
The Roundtable will consist of two sessions: Nominating Committee’s Composition, Formation and Procedure for Nominating CE Candidates; and CE Election Voting Procedure and Other Relevant Matters.
A total of 10 speakers have been invited to speak, including:

·       Mr Lo Pui-yin, Barrister; Chairman, Special Committee on Constitutional Affairs & Human     Rights, Hong Kong Bar Association
·       Mr Lawrence Ma, Barrister; Chairman, China-Australia Legal Exchange Foundation
·       Professor Ray Yep Kin-man, Assistant Head & Professor, Department of Public Policy, CityU
·       Professor Zhao Xinshu, Chair Professor, School of Communication, Hong Kong Baptist    University
The Roundtable will be conducted in Cantonese, English and Putonghua, as designated by the individual speakers. No interpretation service will be provided.
