A ceremony will be held to thank the Joseph Lau Luen-hung Charitable Trust for its recent gift to City University of Hong Kong (CityU). The donation, the largest that CityU has ever received, will be used to sponsor the University’s long-term development and set up scholarships and bursaries for students with financial difficulties.
Mr Lau Ming-wai, the representative of the Trust and Vice-Chairman of Chinese Estates Group, and The Hon Leung Chun-ying, Council Chairman of CityU, Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, will share their views on creativity and innovation with teachers and students at the forum before the donation ceremony.
At the ceremony, Dr Leung Nai-pang, Pro-Chancellor of CityU, and Professor Kuo will express their gratitude for the Trust’s support on behalf of the University.
