Academic Sinica, Taiwan and City University of Hong Kong (CityU) are co-organising the 2010 Pacific Neighbourhood Consortium (PNC) Annual Conference from 1-3 December at CityU.
The officiating guests at the opening ceremony will be Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU; Professor Liu Chao-han, Vice President of Academia Sinica, Taiwan; Professor Wang Fan-sen, Vice President, Academia Sinica, Taiwan; and Professor Pan Yunhe, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
The main theme this year is “From Digital Content to Knowledge Asset”, focusing on the storage, publicity and utilisation of digital content. The theme highlights various domains such as biodiversity, digital archives, digital libraries, e-learning, e-publishing, e-resources, intellectual property rights, metedata and media applications.
The three-day conference will host nearly 30 lectures and discussions. Please refer to the attached programme for more details.
