Hong Kong and Macau Interschool Straw Competition

More than 200 teams comprising secondary students from more than 100 Hong Kong and Macau schools will participate in the 12th Hong Kong and Macau Interschool Straw Competition 2009, organised by City University of Hong Kong (CityU), this Sunday (26 April).
The theme of this year’s event is “City Shooter”. Contestants will construct launchers to propel a ball with the straws provided. The launcher that propels the ball furthest to pass through a target will win.
