The Division of Building Science and Technology (BST) of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will hold the opening ceremony of the two-day BuiltExpo 2009 on 17 April. The organising committee will announce results of the BuiltExpo 2009 Project Competition and present awards to the winners.  

Organised under the theme “Built Environment Revitalisation”, the Expo will showcase around 100 building and construction projects from final-year students of CityU’s four building-related Associate of Science Degree programmes. Projects on display include designs for a high-rise commercial building, building conversions and revitalised historic buildings. The winning projects include a commercial building with fashion design concept located in Causeway Bay and the Hollywood Road Former Police Married Quarters revitalised into an art centre. Winning teams will meet the media after the opening ceremony to discuss their exhibits.
