CityUHK signs a MoU with Beijing GalaxyIL to jointly promote the integration of research and teaching, advance digital learning development, and shape the future of the global learning environment.

City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Beijing Galaxy Intelligence Learning Technology (GalaxyIL) on 28 August to jointly promote the integration of research and teaching, advance digital learning development, and shape the future of the global learning environment.

The MoU was signed by Professor Lee Chun-sing, Provost and Deputy President of CityUHK, and Dr Wang Zhuo, CEO of GalaxyIL. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration in research and education, co-organise cross-regional exchanges, and academic and research activities, and broaden students’ horizons in internationalisation, innovation, and digitalisation.

Professor Lee stated that CityUHK is committed to integrating cutting-edge technology into higher education, thus providing students with the necessary resources and expertise to drive digital learning transformation. He highlighted that the establishment of the Institute of Future Learning in August this year will further promote a learning-centric education model and incorporate the four I’s – institutional, inspirational, interactive, and innovative learning – into CityUHK teaching and learning activities. CityUHK aims to provide more student-centric education, where students gain not just a degree, but a comprehensive education experience.
