17 Jun 2025 CityUHK Climbs to 54th Globally and 3rd Locally in Best Global Universities Rankings, with Ten Academic Disciplines Ranked 1st in Hong Kong CityUHK has achieved outstanding results in the 2025–2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities Rankings, placing 54th among 2,250 universities worldwide — a significant leap of 25 places from last year. CityUHK now ranks 9th in Asia, up three places, and 3rd in Hong Kong, rising one spot, reflecting its growing competitiveness on the global academic stage.
