A group of 18 undergraduate and postgraduate students from the College of Computing took part in a two-day Learning Trip to Shenzhen between 23 and 24 April 2026.

On Day 1, students visited Tencent HQ. On Day 2, they visited the Global Hawk UAV Flight Academy, where they had the opportunity to experience UAV/drone flying. At the end of the training, each student received a Certificate of Completion from the Civil Remote Pilot License Examination Centre.

Students expressed that the trip was highly beneficial in supporting their career planning and strengthening their learning motivation.

A group of 31 students from the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Data Science visited the Guangzhou Automobile Company (GAC) on 9 January 2026. The visit was followed by a cultural visit to the nearby Canton Tower and Huacheng Square.

A group of 35 students from the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Data Science visited Deliveroo HQ in London, UK on 23 May 2025 as part of the Cultural and Language Immersion Scheme.
