Overseas Summer Programmes

The College of Biomedicine (CBM) is excited to offer the following summer programmes funded through the Global Experience for ALL Funding Scheme (GEAFS). Eligible students may receive subsidies of up to 60% on direct costs, including programme fees, economy class transportation, and accommodation. CBM will open applications in February, so be sure to prepare your submissions!

CBM Summer Undergraduate Research Programme 2026 @ Nanyang Technological University

This programme provides an opportunity for CBM undergraduate students to undertake research attachments for eight weeks at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore during the summer. Through developing research skills and knowledge in a specific area of interest, participating students will actively engage in research under the supervision of NTU faculty members. Students are expected to devote at least 40 hours per week to the research project. Supervisors will discuss the actual time commitment with their students upon admission.


University of British Columbia - Vancouver Summer Program (VSP)

Designed for international undergraduate students, the Vancouver Summer Program at the University of British Columbia offers a four-week blend of academics and cultural immersion. Participants engage in two academic courses and gain direct exposure to Canadian society, nurturing academic development, building lasting connections, and expanding their global outlook.
