New Horizons Await - College Orientation for Undergraduate Students

On 26 August 2026 (Wednesday), the College of Biomedicine (CBM) held its annual orientation, welcoming our incoming undergraduate students and helping them settle into university life with ease.

The orientation commenced with a warm virtual welcome from Professor Isaiah Arkin, Dean of the College of Biomedicine. Professor Gigi Lo, Associate Dean (Undergraduate Education), then guided students through the academic roadmap awaiting them, emphasizing the importance of balancing academic learning and personal development over the next four years.

Thereafter, Ms Lamon Lau from the Career and Leadership Centre under Student Development Services, shared crucial and useful career-related services available to the undergraduate students throughout their studies. Mr Carl Tang and Mr Sam Chiu from the Global Engagement Office introduced the freshmen to various global outreach opportunities.

The orientation wrapped up with a group photo to capture the ecstatic moments in the morning.
