We are proud to announce that three postdoctoral fellows from Prof. Yu Huang’s laboratory were recognised for their outstanding research contributions at the 10th Asian Preventive Cardiology & Cardiac Rehabilitation Conference, held in conjunction with the 27th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Institute of Cardiovascular Science and Medicine (event website here) in Hong Kong on 23–24 November 2024.
The event is dedicated to advancing the field of preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. This year’s theme, “The Magic of Prevention and Rehabilitation—Can We Avoid a Cardiovascular Event?”, highlighted the pivotal role of innovative medical technologies and holistic therapies, such as cardiac rehabilitation, in reducing cardiovascular risks and improving patient quality of life. At this prestigious conference, the following awards were presented to our postdoctoral fellows:
- Dr Lei He and Dr Yandi Wu received the First Prize and Second Prize, respectively, in the Sun Chieh Yeh Heart Foundation Young Investigator Award Competition (Oral Presentation).
- Dr Yujie Pu was awarded the First Prize in the Sun Chieh Yeh Heart Foundation Young Investigator Award Competition (Chaired Poster Presentation).
These accolades reflect their dedication to advancing cardiovascular science and their commitment to excellence in research. Congratulations to all three awardees on this well-deserved recognition!
