Dr Condon Lau Spoke at the “Science in the Public Service” Campaign

Dr Condon LAU, Associate Professor of the Department, delivered a talk for the “Science in the Public Service” on 22 August 2020.

Dr Condon LAU talked about “Physics Spots Pneumonia, and other Medical Applications”, discussing physics applications in modern medicine, including imaging pneumonia. The talk is recorded and available from the YouTube Channel of Hong Kong Science Museum.

“Science in the Public Service” (SIPS) is a joint campaign by government bureau /departments and other organisations to promote their scientific work and application of technology to the provision of services for the general public. A series of public forums and talks on the theme “Science in Everyday Life” has been held from August to November this year. CityU is one of the cooperating partners of the SIPS campaign to contribute to the society.
