The College offers the only veterinary programme in Asia to have international accreditation with the Australasian Veterinary Boards Council (AVBC) and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), enabling graduates to practice in Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and Australia. The programme, offered in collaboration with Cornell University, features small-group problem-based learning (PBL) developed by Cornell and is also for the Asian veterinary environment, with particular emphasis on animal welfare, aquatic animal health, food safety and emerging infectious diseases. It provides comprehensive, evidence-based veterinary training in world-class clinical skills laboratories to ensure that students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to become successful veterinarians anywhere in the world.
