Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a facility that allows your home computer to be treated as a "local" computer on campus (i.e. computer on campus bearing University IP address) when it connects securely (i.e. all network traffic is encrypted) to the campus network through any Internet Service Provider (ISP) or organisation. This means you can use any campus facility at home just as you would if you were working on campus
